Sponsored RSS Feeds
There has always been talk about including advertisements in RSS feeds and in general I think the majority of the Internet frowns upon this practice (although we know we are going to be flooded with it sooner or later). However, what I haven’t seen mentioned anywhere are sponsored RSS feeds.
For example:
Superman Rules
Superman is way better than anyone else because…
Big Money Tips RSS Sponsored by 9rules
This in unobtrusive and accomplishes the same task as an ad in a RSS feed. Something to think about and return to later.

Somehow, I’m sure the next stage in google adsense will be RSS embedding

In terms of Affiliate marketing I think we’ll very soon see sites developing and deploying RSS feeds for visitors to sign up for, especially coupon and deal sites where visitors can get the latest and greatest coupons fed direct to their readers.

That would only make sense. Woot.com is a great example of a service that uses RSS, yet it does it for free.
