Erati Network

by admin on January 5th, 2006

Well as some of you may or may not know but Mr JOAB cowboy up and left fine fools for .. wait for it .. his own blog network titled “Erati” !

Heck I can’t even spell that.

Erati is a division of BlogMedia. This confused the hell out of me so let me break it down for you.

BlogMedia is a weblog content network that has a variety of blogs such as Tvbloggin, blog network watch, Gamerzblog etc.

Erati is part of BlogMedia, but has its own blogs. I know what your thinking, what drunken german gynecologist thought of this idea. A blog network under a blog network. Am I rite? AM I RITE?

Don’t get me wrong I’m a fan of ole Mr Cowboy, however I’m a little confused by Erati. If your going to checkout this new network, be sure to visit the gspot erati blog .. if indeed the stories within are true.

Well to help clear the air on what Erati is, Cuz it confuses the hell out of us to. BlogMedia Inc. is basically a privately held company with divisions under it. Their are three core branches of BlogMedia Inc.

Core Content Network BlogMedia Inc. featuring close to 25 blogs.
A blogging community at Erati that quietly already has about 80 blogs.
And a Services Division which will include a variety of services one of which has launched called Blog Network List. We are close to launching another in a few weeks that will hopefully receive rave reviews and be a huge help to people in the blogging community. Under the services division we also plan on launching an advertising network as well in the near future.

Thanks for that Cowboy, looking good.

I have one question, Erati has 80 blogs?!?

youd have to look close to find them. Not giving you the secret decoder yet.

I see 7, that doesn’t look like 80 to me. I SERIOUSLY want to know your formula for figuring that out. Do you mean 80 posts across your 7 new blogs? 80 categories across them? 80 authors you’ve signed on, but only show 7 for now?
    wtf is it?

A blog network under a blog network. Am I rite?

hm. Isn’t fine fools really a blog network under a blog network? Being as scrivs runs 9rules and fine fools, and some of the sites are members of both. just sayin…

Im glad I wasn’t the only one that noticed that SC.

But Cowboy how can we be a blog network under a blog network if you consider 9rules a blog ring?

Well it can be both a network and a ring. Rings are cool too. I just want to know who stole my decoder ring.

SC, while I see where your coming from - I’ve always seen finefools and 9rules as two totally seperate things.

It’s only just recently that a few sites (note few..) have been added to 9rules.

9rules isn’t a network, scrivs doesn’t hire bloggers or ask for volunteer bloggers. I guess one way to say it is that it’s a link directory of quality blogs?

    From Answers.com:
    net·work (nÄ•t’wûrk’)
2.c. An extended group of people with similar interests or concerns who interact and remain in informal contact for mutual assistance or support.

Sounds like 9rules could be a network to me?

This post comes across as very childish. Someone decided to go somewhere else and you have to throw rocks at them as they go.

Hope you aren’t talking to me Nathan.
